On September 22-30, 2018, an international design workshop “8 + 8” was held at the Nida Art Colony in Lithuania. The worshop involved a team of interior design students from the Klaipeda Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts and a team of master degree interior design students from NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Milano. 

Aim of the workshop was to propose designs for the requalification of the Karosta historical military harbor facilities, that were built in the late 19th century and not belong to the city of Liepaja, Latvia. 

Following projects were proposed:
1. „8+8 Estate“
2. „8+8 Karostaland“
3. „8+8 The Village“
4. „8+8 Layout campus“
