Graphic design department 3rd year student NATALIJA ČAIKO won a special prize of the Association of Lithuanian Printing Industries awards in students category “For innovative decisions for Printing Industries  2019” with her academic project “Kivalina”.
Project “Kivalina” (tutor prof. Audrius Klimas) presents climate change and migration problem through community of Inuit. Because of the rising sea level in Alaska, an inevitable climate changes occur, affecting local traditions of Inuits. Natalija in her project made paper and electronic publications, showing information in an interactive way. Readers have a possibility to compare changes of temperatures in Alaska, to watch videos and interviews with the local people.
