Agnė Dautartaitė-Krutulė is an artist and a designer who mostly works in the field of book design. She focuses on the idea of a book and its print, so finding a common language with authors, artists, publishers, and printers is a challenge for a designer. She has a strong believes that the future book is a synthesis of new and existing forms and media, but prefers to work with a paper book. It's important for her to pass on the knowledge and to encourage young people to express themselves, to motivate creativity, and to help the younger generation to jump over today's professionals by finding their new and own ways.
For six years in a row, Agnė is one of the organizers of an international book design conference “6 pt”. She also cultivates a series of open lectures, “Knygos pavartymai…” [Looking Through the Book…].
