Electronic Thesis & Dissertation (ETD*) Submission to Lithuanian Academic electronic Library (eLABa)

10 working days before the date of the public defence  student must submit ETD work to eLABa according to ETD submission instruction in library website 

Main stages of submission of ETD work:

1.1. Student‘s registration in eLABa and log in (;

System login data:

Username – Student’s code in VAA information system
Password – 4 last digits of students personal ID
If you don’t know login data, please send an inquiry to the library worker

1.2. Submission of metadata** about the student, ETD supervisor, title, 3–5 key words, summaries in Lithuanian and English, etc.

1.3. Choice of access of ETD work: 1) freely accessible  on the internet, 2) accessible only on the Academy intranet, 3) not public accessible. Maximum possible embargo*** period for ETD work – 3 years. Academy  encourages the publication of works freely accessible on the internet.

1.4. Submission of ETD work file (main file must be submitted in PDF format. At the request of the author, Work as an appendix may be submitted in other formats);

1.5. Sending to supervisor to confirm;

1.6. Confirmation of e-licence agreement;

1.7. After the supervisor confirms the thesis for further procedures, student receives an email informing about current stage of the thesis. Student needs to Confirm that the data provided in the license agreement is correct and check the box.
