Profile of study programme Postgraduate studies are the next step in the art of artistic expression. Recently, a lot of attention has been paid to the improvement of the Master's study program, taking into account the student surveys and life needs. Two years of postgraduate studies - specializing in narrower fashion design, business, photography or other areas. New disciplines introduced into the degree program: Fashion Trend Forecasting Strategy, Fashion Design Marketing, Fashion Design Innovation and Technology, Fashion Psychology and Sociology, Interdisciplinary Design Research methods. Students are encouraged to present their artistic research and creative workshops to the public, potential employers, and creative workshops with acclaimed artists. The purpose of Master's thesis work is to learn how to build your idea with knowledge of art history, philosophy, examples, analogs and other information. All possible basic studies, philosophy, artistic knowledge, and comprehensive professional education bring one closer to intellectual free expression. That self-expression is far from abstract, because fashion design closely related human. The implementation of abstract, conceptual, postmodern ideas with functionality is the main direction in which the perspective of fashion design development can be followed. Prerequisites for this are: obtaining, analyzing and communicating information; critical thinking; opportunities for developing individual expression; features and practices of the design industry; opportunities for fashion theorists - further doctoral studies that would enable students to become deep into the history of costume and fashion and its evolution, and to enable students to become professional fashion theorists, historians, and critics; opportunities for realization of practical works (production and realization of students 'ideas; financing, support for studies, establishment of studios, where students' works and executed orders); continuous training of department teachers. |
