December 7-10, 2018 professor Toshiya Takahama (Musashino Art University, Tokyo, Japan) is visiting Graphic Art Department in Vilnius Academy of Arts.

Toshiya Takahama studied Printmaking at Musashino Art University. In 1997 participated in the program 'Artist in Residency' on Awaji Island. Since 1998 he was sponsored by ‘The Japan Foundation’, ‘Pola Art Foundation’ and ‘the API fellowship program of the Nippon Foundation’ and continued to study and creat in Bangkok, Thailand. 

Professor’s Toshiya Takahama personal exhibition ‘Prints for Art Projects’ will be open on December 4-10 in the gallery 5 Malūnai (Vilnius Academy of Arts, Malūnų str. 5). The opening of the exhibition - December 7 at 6 pm.

December 7 at 10 am. room 314 (New Building, VAA, Malūnų str. 5). professor’s Toshiya Takahama public lecture ‘The Ochiishi Plan: Rotting Copperplate Prints’.

December 7-10 professor Toshiya Takahama  will lead a workshop ‘Making copperplate print(intaglio) printed on plaster cubes’.
