Results of the 5th A.Švėgžda International drawing contest

The 5th A.Švėgžda International drawing contest exhibition “Idea – object 2016“

The 5th International Algimantas Švėgžda drawing contest exhibition “Idea-object 2016” ended. 76 authors expressed the desire to participate in the contest. 47 authors were selected and invited to participate. The artworks were sent by 34 authors from Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, the Netherlands, Finland and Belarus.

Summing up the jury results, prizes and diplomas to the winners were distributed as follows:

Vidmantas Martikonis € 1,000. (Two awards 500 Eur each) prize for:

Julija Linkute (Vilnius Academy of Arts) was awarded a 500 Eur prize, an opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in one of Vilnius Academy of Arts galleries and 10-day-holidays in Nida Art Colony.
Astri Laitinen (Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki) was awarded a 500 Eur prize, an opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in one of Vilnius Academy of Arts galleries and 10-day-holidays in Nida Art Colony.

Vilnius Academy of Arts awards:

Matylda Polak (Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow) was awarded 300 prize, an opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in one of Vilnius Academy of Arts galleries and a 10-day-holidays in Nida Art Colony.
Anna Grochowska (Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow) 100 Eur encouragement prize.
Michal Dubanik (Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow) 100 Eur encouragement prize.
