Lecture-discussion with Marco Tonelli - contemporary art critic, curator, Doctor of Humanities, lecturer at the Frosinone Arts Academy. 


During this meeting we will have a possibility to hear a comprehensive introduction to Italian modern artists and Italian avant-garde art movement of the 8th decade of the 20th century, Arte povera which was directed against the commercialization of art and significant representatives of this movement: Penone, Pistoletto, Kounellis, trans-avant-garde artists who were creating in Italy in the 9th and 10th decades of the 20th century. Dr. Marco Tonelli will present well-known Italian video (Fabrizio Pleso) and photography (Mimmo Jodice) authors and artists who rethink sculpture in a distinctive way: Pino Spagnulo, Hidetoshi Nagasawa, Bertozzi e Casoni, he will also introduce provocateurs in the field of contemporary art and Italian artists who reflect experiences of limit situations in their works: Loris Cecchini, Maurizio Cattelan, Vanessa Beecroft.
